Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

Easy Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs. Seriously fast, easy hard boiled eggs in the Instant Pot. Use your IP to whip up a batch of Deviled Eggs, egg salad or soy sauce eggs! Even perfect for dropping into a lunch box, the perfect snack to power up.

Ingredients

  • 2-12 large eggs
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add water to Instant Pot®, place the metal trivet inside the pot. 

  2. Place the eggs on the trivet, piling into a pyramid if preparing more than one layer of eggs. 

  3. Select Manual + Pressure High + 5 Minutes (hard boiled) making sure that the valve is closed.

  4. Once you hear the beep indicating the cook time is done, turn the IP off and wait 5 minutes.

  5. After 5 minutes is up, open the vent to allow any extra pressure out.

  6. Remove eggs and soak in a cool water bath for 5 minutes.

  • Hard-boiled eggs can be stored in the fridge for up to one week, peeled or unpeeled.
